With summer fast approaching, I wanted to create an herbal skin salve for this month’s ‘Around the Sun with Herbalism’ workshop at MUSE. And if you have never sliced open an aloe plant, you are in for a treat; there are a couple tricks one must follow, but it is a super easy process otherwise. We will then mix the aloe with my proprietary blend of shea butter & coconut oil infused with calendula and chamomile; then it’s time for you to choose your essential oil combination to create your personal ‘salv’ation!
