a little rant

Trump is a middle school bully, and Elon is his stand by me ally; both on the spectrum and both so entitled that they cannot see the difference between mine and theirs.

Some believe other countries have been taking advantage of America, but they will soon see the truth when our allies abandon us under the light of Russian infiltration.

With our nation torn in half by values, there has to be collaboration and understanding for us to move forward. Liberals fear losing their community around them, and conservatives fear their money being taken.

I have always had pride in paying income taxes; I’ve felt that I am giving to my community, just as I have given my time over the years. From my experience, in both wealthy and poor schools in California, the problem remains the same… funding schools equally, and paying a living wage.

If people are paid a decent wage, we wouldn’t have to take care of our community; everyone could afford homes, health, schools, computers, books, gas, vacations, all of it.

I can also admit that I have been frustrated with our government waste, but I never once thought destroying an entire department (i.e. education, environmental, health) was how to fix it. Now how will our underfunded schools survive? Most states cannot afford to fund their schools on their own, and how will they decide to spend the money they may receive from the federal government? And will religion take over in more conservative states and indoctrinate our innocent children?

With measles on the rampage, there is no talk of responsibility in the health sector either. There is no talk of what is truly hurting our health, and that’s the pesticides we use in farming. There is no talk of regenerative farming, of providing local food for all instead of mass production of corn and soy.

My great sadness isn’t at the current president as much as it is the reality that half this nation is proud of his actions. Half this nation doesn’t care that he is a convicted felon, multiple occasion sex offender, filed for bankruptcy many times, has kids from three marriages, has a difficult time telling the truth, and seeks to emulate Putin.
